We add the large Venom Spider to our list of fauna.
We've met the Spider People before, but we do learn more about them. I had written that they were nomadic and divided into tribes, traveling around the Endless Caves and conducting raids on the other subterranean species (Mole Men and Reptons). I still think this is true--it just "feels right" to me. That would make the main bad guy here the ruler of a large tribe, but not of all the Spider Men.
But they do have some permanent bases such as the one we see here. This makes sense--they would need such bases to produce their technology.
Also, we previously so them using web guns. But here, they have energy weapons. So let's say that they use the web guns when they go on slave raids, so they can take captives alive. When they are in open warfare or defending their territory, they use the more destructive energy weapons.
